Update on Lisa

Folks, I was under the impression Lisa's surgery was Wednesday, but it's not. It's Thursday morning. Today was pre-op stuff. But thanks for praying! The doctor was very optimistic about being able to save Lisa's ankle and other joints. Lisa and her parents were so encouraged, because all they've been hearing is doom and gloom.

This surgery will be on her ankle and hip. In 4 days, if all goes well, they'll do another surgery on a different joint.

She has found pain medicine that works, which is a real answer to prayer!

Please also pray for my dad. He started running a fever tonight after dinner. He really wants to be there for Aunt Elaine and Uncle Dan while they're in the waiting room. But of course he won't chance it if he's got even the slightest fever tomorrow.
