Little Prayer, Big Faith
Sarah came home from gym class this afternoon with a migraine. Stephen got tackled in gym and landed hard on his tailbone. A few minutes ago the two of them were stretched out on opposite ends of the sofa, icing their respective pains.
Joel leaned up against the sofa between them and spread his arms out like an albatross. "I'm going to pray for both of you," he said, and bowed his little head.
"Dear Jesus, I pray for both of you. Amen."
He then looked at Sarah and Stephen and asked with confidence, "Feel better now?"
