Prayers Answered!
Thank you, Father, for hearing my prayers and the prayers of your people on behalf of my sister and my friend.
My sister Andrea, in Brownville, has not had any problem from Rita. She is safe and sound, as are her husband and their managerie.
Barb is doing much better! She gets to come home today. The headache's gone, she's able to get up to walk a bit more each day, and has cut back a lot on the morphine drip.
I was also among hundreds of thousands praying for God to relent by reducing the force of Rita. What an answer to prayer that Rita went from a Cat 5 to a Cat 1 storm in the past couple days of intense praying for mercy. Truly God hears.
Thank you all for praying specically for the requests I posted a few days ago.

Praise the Lord for every blessing! Its so good to hear good news.
Zoanna...I answered your question about the camera I use on my blog, but thought to say here it is a Sony cybershot 5.0 pixels. That shot of the hibiscus was a good one. I did blow it up and crop it. I think the lighting was just perfect for that one. Not always the case =) but sometimes...
Hibiscus! Of course! Why do names of flowers I love escape me? Never used to. I blame it on the 40th birthday last month. And I shall for another 11 months.
