Calling a Blog Fast

It's for my best good. I must fast from blogging for a while. It is a little too enjoyable for me, but it has been feeding the dog of laziness. My husband and children and house aren't getting the attention they need.

This is not at all easy for me. I can't just sit down for 10 minutes, read and write a blog, and then walk away and be productive the rest of the day. I may just have to earn my second BA (Bloggers Anonymous) by becoming a member of a BA group! Kudoes to those who can blog and still be really good servants. Not me!

I hope to strike a balance in the future, but since this is Turkey week, I'll try going cold turkey withthe blogs.

Email me, though, if you need to get a message through, or visit Sarah's blog. Thanks.

Zoanna
PS I'm not copying Laurie. I was thinking of doing this for a while, but procrastinating. Thanks for the nudge, Laurie.

Hi Zoanna,
I have not prewashed the fabrics. Actually I never prewash my fabrics when I make dolls, so it did not occure to me to do so. Should have I done it? I am not too sure about colours either as I think some of them may be dyed with natural dyes. Might be better if you test them first. Oh goodness I should have thought of that. We never have to wash dolls so you see we never think of these finer points. I am so sorry. Let me know if any run then I will make amends. Have a lovely Christmas
hugs

Sashi, I don't know what happened. I just lost a long comment I wrote here after I typed in the word verification. OH well, As I was saying, please don't worry one little bit that you didn't prewash the fabric. I never make dolls so didn't think NOT to wash mine! It's just my habit. I put each swatch into a sink of lukewarm water to see if it runs. If it does, I put it in my washing maching alone and do a double rinse. (My washer senses the load size so it doesn't waste water.) If the fabric dye doesn't run, I combine it with other non-bleeding material or lightweight clothes.
I'll copy this note onto your latest post (comment section) so you can read it quickly and feel free of any guilt. Be free, sister!! I love to do laundry, anyway, I'm odd that way. Good thing I have a big family, there's never a shortage of dirty clothes.

Sorry, Shashi, I am always good at leaving out the first H in your name. I have a friend named Sacha, and I guess that's what trips me up. I do apologize. No one likes to see their name misspelled.
