Missionary's Homecoming

I can hardly wait to see Ben again. He comes home from a missions trip to Mexico tonight. LATE tonight. Sarah is excited, too, because she loves airports. (She joked that she's more excited about going to the airport than about seeing her brother.)

I found myself thinking of him as a "real missionary" today, and how I've always wanted to house real missionaries overnight or longer. So I changed his bedding, had the oil changed in his car, cleaned the bathroom he uses, put away his clean laundry, and look forward to feeding him a big American breakfast in the morning when he wakes up. (Which might NOT still be morning by the time he gets rises.)

The only big consideration is this: do we all go to the airport? The "new" van needs a new radiator, but the car won't hold all six of us. Will he be too tired to talk in the car, or will I miss all his pent-up stories in the first hour? (He's not a big talker to start with. You take what you can get.)

This momma's running on adrenaline now. Can hardly wait to see him, hug him, and hear from him, and of course, to hear what God did in his life and with his hands.

Zo

i just wanted to thank you for your prayers and the offer for Sarah to babysit for us. We really want her to be able to spend time w/ the boys when they're awake, so we'll be sure to make that happen.

I'm going to leave today's update on the blog, but overall we're very pleased by how things are going for Judah. Thanks so much for praying and caring for our family!!
